Bond & Clay Hand Building Ceramic Workshops

Frances Rogers in collaboration with Bond and Land Canteen.

We are offering a 3 hour introduction to coiling and pinching techniques as well as an opportunity to learn about clay as a material and the magic that happens during the firing process.
Connect with your creative community and make your own bespoke ceramic pieces.

Frances will be demonstrating the techniques with room for self directed creating.
This means you choose what you want to make and will receive guidance in how to achieve your creation.

Frances Rogers studied a bachelor of Visual Arts and Ceramics at The University of South Australia 2019 and since graduating has under taken arts residencies, taught workshops with ES Ceramics, produced public art and currently practices from her home based studio in Forestville.
With seven years experience working with clay and ceramics, Frances can teach skills in making table wear, decorative pieces and offer guidance with sculptural design.

INCLUDES: Tools, materials, firing costs of 2-3 pieces (size dependent) light snacks and refreshments.

Wine can be purchased on the day!

Session time : 2.30 - 5.30pm Saturday

Spots are limited to 10 people per class so book in quick!

Preferred clothing and class prep:
- closed shoes
- comfy clothes you're happy to get dirty / apron
- cut your finger nails prior to class
- bring a tea towel
- hand cream is a good idea
- come ready to have some fun and try something new!

Cancellation Policy:

Full Refund or rebooking offered for cancellation more than 7 days in advance- minus $15 +GST Booking Fee (for refunds)

Cancellation within 7 days of event will be granted a partial refund- minus Booking Fee ($15+GST) and Admin/ Teacher Fee ($30+GST)

If you cant make it last minute, send a friend instead :)
